As it is an economic railway, its layout was designed to avoid costly construction works, so there are no tunnels and only 5 significant bridges:

Bridge over the river Onyar

The bridge over the River Onyar is located near Gerona, at kilometre 4.189. It is 80 metres long with seven intermediate pillars. It cost 40,200 pesetas to build. This bridge, along with the rest of the metal bridges on the line, was built by the engineer Alexandre Wolguemuth of the Arsenal Civil de Barcelona.

Bridge over the Bugantó stream

The bridge over the Bugantó stream was located at kilometre 9.957 and was 30 metres long with two intermediate pillars. It cost 14,600 pesetas to build. This bridge, like the rest of the metal bridges on the line, was built by the engineer Alexandre Wolguemuth of the Arsenal Civil de Barcelona.

Bridge over the Salenys ravine

The Salenys bridge is made of masonry, with three semicircular stone arches of 7 meters each. It was 25 meters long and it is estimated that it cost around 12,000 pesetas to build. It was designed by Bernat Puig, the company's engineer.

Bridge over the Verneda stream

The bridge over the Verneda stream was located at kilometer 16.256 and was 20 meters long with an intermediate pillar. It cost 8,600 pesetas to build. This bridge, like the rest of the metal bridges on the line, was built by the engineer Alexandre Wolguemuth of the Arsenal Civil de Barcelona. It was blown up when the republicans withdrew and was rebuilt shortly afterwards with three concrete piers.

Bridge over the river Ridaura

The bridge over the river Ridaura was located at kilometre 35.021 and was 40 metres long, with three intermediate pillars. It cost 19,500 pesetas to build. This bridge, like the rest of the metal bridges on the line, was built by the engineer Alexandre Wolguemuth of the Arsenal Civil de Barcelona. In November 1908, due to a strong flood, the central pillar lowered its level.
In 1913 a new bridge had to be built, and it was made with a single 40-metre span built by La Maquinista Terrestre y Marítima, the work of the engineer August de Rull.
